About the speakers


  • Karen Conway is a Qualified Accountant (ACCA) with over 20 years' experience in the private and public sector. Across the public sector she has had a number of roles within finance. She also has a breadth of experience as a Finance Business Partner working and developing financial and management reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting within finance functions and Major Programmes.


  • Fiona Martin has over 8 years of experience in the private and public sector. Fiona has held positions both developing and performing quality review of business cases, including Government Major Projects Portfolio cases. Fiona also has expertise in programme finance management, including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.


  • Bill Beattie is an experienced leader of large and complex strategic real estate and regeneration-led programmes, often with a significant public interest angle. Bill has over 25 years of experience in funding, delivering and assuring such programmes from inception, through their business case, into supply chain procurement and ultimately to a successful execution and handover.
