Peer Working Groups

Online

Description

We’re excited to announce three new ‘Peer Working Groups’, where you can meet with peers to discuss particular topics and share insights. If these don’t align with any of your projects, do keep an eye out for further themed Peer Working Groups in future newsletters, or contact us to make a suggestion. Spots on the three Peer Working Groups are limited, and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For now, you will also be limited to sign-up to just one group – if you would like to join more than one Working Group, please email DeliveryAssociatesNetwork@Arup.com

Time

Town Centre Regneration

8 April 2024 · 14:30-16:00

Town Centre Regeneration demands a holistic approach to manage the multifaceted challenges of delivering change in the heart of a community. This peer working group seeks to consider best practice to facing these challenges and joining up services, sectors and stakeholders.

Working with Markets

Early May - To be confirmed

Markets are at the heart of many places and bring vibrancy and value to town centres. Working to improve or re-develop markets can also present a range of challenges, many of which can be tricky to work around and often include a broad range of stakeholders who need to be engaged throughout. This working group is for places who have market-related projects, or projects where market stall-holders are a significant stakeholder.

Delivering Leisure Centres

Early May - To be confirmed

Many of the levelling up projects being delivered relate to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities. This includes new and upgraded leisure centres, sometimes delivered in partnership with the private sector. This peer working group is designed to bring together those people delivering leisure centres, as a way to share lessons and discuss challenges.
