Facilitators
Alastair Gordon
Alastair is experienced in multidisciplinary design work and is a strong communicator, able to liaise with stakeholders and local authority officers and members with confidence.
Alastair leads Arup’s Cities Planning and Design team in the North-West and Yorkshire. He is also Arup’s Transport Planning Skills Leader for UKIMEA advancing skills and knowledge sharing across the 280 transport planners in this region.
Alastair is also the Chair of the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Transport Board and has a detailed knowledge of the local transport network and key stakeholders.
Javed Hussain
Javed delivers schemes for both private sector and local authority clients. He has developed skills and experience which he can draw on to facilitate schemes from a policy, engineering, quality and commercial point of view.
Javed is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Chartered transport professional and takes a leading role in providing technical support and advice to deliver development and transport schemes.
