Delivering Leisure Centres Peer Working Group

Description

Many of the levelling up projects being delivered relate to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities. This includes new and upgraded leisure centres, sometimes delivered in partnership with the private sector.

This peer working group is designed to bring together those delivering leisure centres, as a way to share lessons and discuss challenges.

Time

Facilitators

Marcus Foster

A Delivery Associate and has previously delivered two new build leisure centres for Oldham Council, part-funded by Sport England. As lead Project Manager, he was appointed during the early RIBA design stages and managed the delivery through to full commissioning and handover back to the Operator.
